General

As Wales’ chief airport, the newly refurbished terminal is only 12 miles from Cardiff City Centre and handles 1,500,000 passengers a year, flying directly to 13 key destinations across the UK and Europe.

The airport's single terminal provides check-in-desks on the 1st floor while those arriving at the airport can be met on the ground floor in the main concourse.

Money can be exchanged at one of the three bureaux de change outlets available throughout the terminal building. ATMs are also found in the terminal.

Babycare

Special babycare rooms, equipped with changing tables, nappy dispensers and other essential equipment are also available at the airport. While two games zones provide diversion for children in the departures lounge and on the first floor of the terminal building.

Business Travellers

Business travellers will find fax and photocopying facilities available at the Information Desk on the first floor of the main terminal.

Shopping

Shopping outlets at Cardiff International Airport include two World News outlets which offer a full range of newspapers, books, snacks, gifts, tobacco and confectionery.

The Travel Shopping Tax and Duty Free shop in the departures lounge offers perfume, cosmetics, confectionery, electronic consumer goods.

Food Court

The food court area overlooks the runway and provides a wide range of catering options including sandwiches, snacks, hot food and beverages. The Scrum Half Bar opens for all departing flights, while the departures lounge has a good Deli. The Pride of Wales traditional pub also serves a selection of hot food and bar meals.

Disabled Facilities

The Terminal Building offers easy access to all areas, as well as Disabled Toilets, flight info monitors and a minicom facility from the Info Desk for those with hearing difficulties. Assistance can be provided for boarding the aircraft, and specially allocated spaces are available in the carparks.

Information Desk

Passengers will find the Information Desk situated on the 1st floor of the Terminal building, while a Bakers Dolphin travel agency is situated in the main terminal and is open Monday to Saturday.
