Transfers
Please ensure you allow 50 minutes for check-in and transfer to the airport. Transfers operate regularly 24 hours a day, they take approximately 15 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Airparks now offers a NEW increased frequency service to and from the airport using the brand new transport interchange. Customers are delivered to the transport interchange. At the transport interchange there is easy access to the terminals using the high level covered walkways. By avoiding the congestion when at - and between - the terminals Airparks now provides a more frequent service with shorter waiting times at the car park and at the airport. The interchange is ideal for customers using terminals 1 and 2. Customers using terminal 3 will have a longer walk to the terminal. This is fine for those with limited luggage. Those with more luggage should consider one of our alternative car parks that drops you off directly outside the terminal building.

Arrival Procedures
On arrival the staff will request your reference number or ask for your confirmation in order to park your car for you. Hand the car park staff your keys and a fully insured driver will take your car and park it for you. You will then be able to catch a transfer bus to the terminal. Staff at the car park will take timed digital photographs of your car when you arrive ensuring you encounter no problems when you return.

Departure Procedures
Upon your arrival you will be presented with a unique receipt when you check in your vehicle with an Airparks member of staff. This will include full details of your departure procedures and collection of your vehicle. Once you have cleared departures please call the car park to confirm your arrival on 0161 436 3691.

Terminal 1: Take the lift from the terminal back up to Level 11 and the chauffeur will return your vehicle to you by the lift doors.

Terminal 2: Make your way out of the departure doors and cross to lane 3. The chauffeur will return your vehicle to you outside of the Budget Car Rental offices.

Terminal 3: Make your way out of the departure doors and cross over to the car rental offices. Make your way through the doors into the Multi-Storey car park and our chauffeur will return your vehicle to you there.

Directions
Please refer to the directions below from junction 3 on the M60 ringroad. Some online route planners may not lead you straight to our car park.
From the south: Exit the M6 north at junction 18 and follow the A54 (Holmes Chapel). After approximately 1.25 miles at the double roundabout, follow the A535 signposted Macclesfield. After six miles go straight over the roundabout following signs for the A535 Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. Follow the A535 to the end. At the junction with A34, turn left onto the A34. At the roundabout follow the A34 bypass Handforth M60. At the fourth roundabout take the first exit Handforth Dean and Brooke Park industrial estate. At the small roundabout take the third exit onto Long Marl Drive. At the next roundabout take the second exit into the Airparks site.
From the north: Take the M6 onto the M61 then continue onto the M60 and exit at junction 3 onto the A34 southbound. Stay on the A34 (ignoring all airport signs) through one set of traffic lights and over 3 roundabouts. After the third roundabout follow the slip road on the left signposted Handforth Dean Cars Only, off under the bridge below the A34. At the small roundabout take the third exit. The Airparks entrance is straight ahead.
From the west: Follow the M62 towards Liverpool until it joins the M60, look for signs for Manchester airport and Stockport. Exit the M60 at junction 3 following signs for Cheadle and Wilmslow A34. Then follow directions from the north.
From the west: From Chester and North Wales, exit the M56 at junction 6 A538 Wilmslow. Follow signs from Wilmslow into town centre. At the t-junction and traffic lights, turn left and go straight through the next set of traffic lights to the mini roundabout and turn right following A34 Manchester and Handforth Dean. At the roundabout take the first exit (left) onto the A34 at Atlantic Ford, go over one roundabout. At the second roundabout take the first exit signposted Handford Dean and Brooke Industrial Estate. At the small roundabout take the third exit onto Long Marl Drive. At the next roundabout take the second exit into Airparks.
From the east/north east: Exit the M62 at junction 18 onto M60 Manchester airport and Ashton. Join the M60 and exit junction 3 following signs for Cheadle and Wilmslow A34. Then follow directions from the north.
From the east: From Sheffield following the A628 or the A57, join the M67 leading onto the M60, turn left onto the M60 following signs for Manchester airport and Stockport. Exit junction 3 following signs for Cheadle and Wilmslow and the A34. Then follow direction from the North.

Security Measures
This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking as well as the ISO9001 certification providing an extremely secure environment in which to keep your car. This means that you are parking in a safe area that has been vetted by the police. Airparks Handforth Dean makes use of CCTV and floodlighting, as well as security fencing and barriers. Staff are also at the site 24 hours a day.

Maximum Car Size
There is a maximum height limit on all vehicles of 2.10m (7 ft). This car park cannot accept bookings for minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or trailers, even if multiple spaces are booked.
