Parking at Stansted Long Stay is very convenient, and fantastic value too. The Long Stay car park, formerly known as Pink Elephant, is easy to find and the quick transfer bus, which runs 24 hours a day, drops you right outside the terminal building. Stansted Long Stay is fully secured, backed by the Park Mark scheme.

Transfers
Transfers between the Long Stay car park and Stansteds terminal take just 10 minutes and run every 20 minutes, please allow yourself extra time just in busy seasons.

Arrival Procedures
The car park has an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system, so please make sure you enter your vehicle registration number correctly when you make your booking. You should bring your booking confirmation to the car park. On arrival drive up to the entry barrier, the machine will read and recognise your car registration number. This should take about 15 seconds. A ticket will be printed showing your booking reference and the barrier will lift. Park your car and transfer to the airport. If the barrier does not give you a ticket within 15 seconds, press the help button for assistance.

Departure Procedures
Drive to the exit barrier. Insert the ticket you were given when you came in and the barrier will open.
If you have any problems, please show your booking confirmation and entry ticket to a parking attendant, or press the call button for help.

Directions
Leave the M11 at junction 8a if you are coming from the south, or junction 8 if you are coming from the north. At the motorway roundabout, follow signs for Stansted airport.
At the next roundabout take the first exit, following signs for the long stay car park.
Go straight on at the next roundabout, pass the Hilton hotel and take the next turning on the left into the long stay car park.

Security Measures
Long Stay Stansted is fully secured and has CCTV, security fencing and lighting at night. It is manned 24 hours a day and there are regular site patrols.

Disabled Facilities
Parking bays for Blue Badge holders are in zone Q. Use the help points at the bus stops to request a pick-up when you want to transfer to the terminal. The courtesy coaches are wheelchair accessible.

Maximum Car Size
None. High vehicles, oversized vehicles and vehicles with trailers should use zone Q.

Insurance
Offers free cover for damage resulting from any act or omission on the part of its servants or agents. Parking is at vehicle owners' own risk.

Full customer service provision (between the hours of 12:00 - 02:00), free battery recharge service. Free AA cover from 12:00 - 02:00.

Other Useful Information
Parking charges are calculated in periods of 24 hours, starting from the time when you arrive at the car park. If you stay for more days than you booked, you will be charged for the extra days at the car park's standard daily rate. If you stay for fewer days than you booked, you will not be given a refund.
